My minerals came from Skardu area (Skardu is the capital of Baldistan, near the Karakoram mountain ramge), in the Baldistan district, Northern areas (Pakistani-administered portion of Kashmir).
Shigar Valley is one of the most popular place from the mineralogical point of view, with alpine-cleft metamorphic occurrences and pegmatites deposits

Beryl var aquamarine
Transparent, pale blue X of acquamarine, 2.6 x 1,4 cm; it is posted on a matrix with pseudo-hexgonal  XX of calcite with two small "apatite" XX
